How To Search For Someone On MyLife

Missing an old school chum or former flame? Hoping to find that long-lost family member or maybe even a new job? MyLife can help. Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive database of people listings so you can discover personal and work connections that matter to you.

MyLife’s People Search tool scours over 700 million listings across the web to help you find people you can’t easily find on other sites, and delivers detailed information to help you get in contact. You could be just clicks away from making a connection, so find out how.

Performing A Search

To begin, register for a FREE MyLife basic account. Look for the search bar at the top of MyLife.com. To locate friends and family, enter the person’s first and last name. If you know their age or approximate age, you can enter that too. Then, enter their last known location, such as a city or state. You can also use the pulldown menu to try searching by email, high school or job.

Your Search Results

We deliver results instantly and you can view the basic information about the people you searched for, for FREE.

Or you can upgrade to a MyLife Premium People Search subscription to view their full profile, which may include*:

  • Current and previous addresses
  • Phone number
  • Photos
  • Social networks they are on
  • Schools they’ve attended
  • Work history
  • Relatives and associates

If the person has claimed their MyLife Profile, there will likely be a lot of information available because they have taken the time to customize it. Otherwise, we create their listing using information that is available about them from public records.

If we are unable to deliver results at the moment you searched, we will continue to scour the Internet using our Search Scout tool. Once we find new results for your search we’ll notify you with an email.

*Not all the information listed above may be available in their listings.

Find Out More

If there is information missing from a profile that you would like to see, you can request that the person you searched for complete or update their profile.

As a Premium People Search Subscriber, you can also exchange private messages with your search results using our secure and anonymous messaging system.

Both of these solutions can help you positively identify if it’s the correct person you were seeking, and can help you reconnect if that’s your desired outcome.

Get Ongoing Updates

Our Search Scout tool will constantly monitor the web for new information about the people you’ve searched for. Any time we find updated information, such as a new phone number or new photo, we’ll notify you with an email. This helps you stay up to date on your searches and makes it easier to reconnect, if that’s your intention.

Your Search History

Every time you log into your account, you can see if you have new information on the people you searched for. An orange notification with a number of new results will appear in top navigation by the “Identity” tab.” Click on “Search Scout from the pulldown menu. MyLife’s Search Scout will continue to monitor for new information on your searches until you delete the search. Delete by clicking the “x” within the listing.
